Autofun Philippines – Moto Vault has launched the Zontes line of 350 cc motorcycles, including the Zontes 350R street bike in India, among others. With this, the multi-brand motorcycle franchise into India will also include the Moto Morini range of motorcycles.

However, this article focuses on the Zontes 350R motorcycle as it competes with the KTM 390 Duke and BMW G 310 R in the 300-400 cc streetfighter segment in India. Zontes 350R vs KTM 390 Duke

KTM 390 Duke needs no introduction. Such a motor model, has gained a great reputation for its excellent performance. And, it is at a price tag of Rs 2.96 in Indian market. Now compare it with the Zontes 350R, and the 390 Duke is a more affordable offering as the former is priced at Rs 3.25. -group support.

For the price, the KTM 390 Duke is great value for money while also offering great features. It also delivers on brand value and leading presence while offering a fair price for its segment.

It is powered by a liquid-cooled 373.2cc single-cylinder engine that produces 43.5hp and 37Nm of peak torque. The KTM 390 Duke comes with a wire-by-wire throttle that provides a smoother throttle-based response while the engine sound this time is more subtle and smoother.

On the other hand, the Zontes 350R is equipped with a liquid-cooled 348cc single-cylinder engine that produces 38.8 hp at 9,500 rpm and 32.8 Nm at 7,500 rpm, combined with 6-speed gearbox.

Zontes 350R features a balanced suspension and flexible handling for improved ride comfort and ease of handling, designed to suit Indian road conditions. The front is equipped with a 43 mm telescopic suspension, while the rear is a Monoshock suspension. The aluminum alloy rim / light spokes are designed to be wide and hollow inside.

Zontes 350R and BMW G 310 R

The BMW G 310 R is probably the most affordable in the low-end naked sports segment as it costs Rs 2.70. (Showroom, India). Compare it with the Zontes 350R, and the BMW G 310 R is Rs 1.25 lakh cheaper and around Rs 26,000 less than the KTM 390 Duke.

The BMW G 310 R is no real street thug if that’s what you’d expect. But it does the job well, and if it’s the agile, reliable roadster you’re looking to upgrade. The bike comes with a 313cc engine producing 33.5 BHP and 28 Nm and the suspension includes an inverted telescopic fork at the front and an adjustable rear monoshock. 

The BMW G 310 R has managed to carve out a niche in the premium road car category with its competitive price and attractive design, branding it to a wider audience in the country.

Zontes 350R comes with LED lights on the headlights, taillights, DRLs and turn signals. The car also has a TFT color LCD screen, keyless control system, four driving modes, LED lighting system and two USB fast charging ports. 

It also offers a host of safety features such as a tire pressure monitoring system and dual-channel ABS, among others. The TFT display will also feature four themed skins and will display the speedometer, navigation, Bluetooth music, answer calls, and glitch notifications, among others.
